PEN-X enhances, protects and extends the life of external decorative surfaces. With rich colour enhancing properties, the natural aesthetic and appeal of the honed surface is improved and maintained. Keeping surfaces attractive for longer.

This single pack, solvent based, concrete sealer is easy to use, creating a resilient surface, protecting it from UV, dirt ingress, mould/algae, and other staining agents.

SURFACE PREPARATION: 

Surface must be dry & prepared, to be clean and free from oil, dirt, waxes and any other contaminants that may interfere with bonding, prior to application.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

• It is advised that prior to use on any surface, a small test area should be prepared to observe drying time, coverage rate of material and finished colour.
• Temperature range for optimal application 10-35 degrees. Surfaces should not be hot from floor heating or direct sunlight.
• Avoid installation during windy conditions.
• Best results are achieved using at least 10mm – 15mm nap micro fibre roller. 
• Product can be sprayed using solvent resistant sprayer.
• If spraying, first coat must be thinned by 30% with Xylene.  It is recommended that if spraying, a second and third coat of undiluted product be applied.
• Ensure to always keep a “wet edge” when rolloing over an already sealed area to avoid overlap marks. 
• Do not apply if rain or dew expected within 3 hours of application.
• At temperatures below 25 degrees Celsius and over 50% humidity, drying times will be extended.
• If sealing exposed aggregate / pavilion finish concrete surfaces, thinning is not normally required due to the porocity of the concrete.
• Recoating can normally be performed following 1hr dry time, however, 3-4hrs is preferable.

CLEAN UP:

• Xylene.

• Appropriate PPE. Respiratory, hand, skin and eye protection, must be used in conjunction with this product.
